Alliance Primary Care Limited (GP Partners/Directors - Dr M I Kadarsha, Dr M H Kadarsha and Dr N Ishaque) took over the management of the Lakeside Surgery at the Goldthorpe Centre on 1 April 2019. Please note that care will continue as previously. The same level of services will be offered to our patients.
This website provides many online facilities, including appointment booking and cancellation, and prescription ordering. It also contains a vast range of health information and resources, along with practical information on visiting the surgery. We hope you find the website useful and informative.

i-Heart Barnsley Sunday Telephone Advice Line
Starting Sunday 17th April i-Heart Barnsley will introduce a telephone advice line between 9am and 1pm. Patients will be able to speak to a clinical advisor on the existing 01226 242429 number. Calls will be monitored closely over the next few weeks to understand local requirements for Sunday services. There will be no changes to weekday or Saturday appointments. i-HEART is a free service available to anyone registered with a Barnsley-based GP.
The service provides same day appointments with a GP or Advanced Practitioner during evenings, weekends and bank holidays, which are available in locations throughout Barnsley.
Appointment opening times:
Monday to Friday: 6.30pm to 10.30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10.00am to 1.00pm
Bank holidays: 10.00am to 1.00pm
Booking an appointment
Appointments can be booked via telephone between:
4.00pm to 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)
and 8.00am to 9.30am (weekends and bank holidays)

Named Accountable GP
All our patients are allocated a named accountable GP. This will usually be either Drs M I Kadarsha, Dr M H Kadarsha or Dr N Ishaque. However this does not mean you cannot see the GP of your choice at the practice, it just means that your named GP has overall responsibility for your health.
Disabled Access
Our surgery is accessible to all patients using a wheelchair and access can be gained without using steps.
The building has toilet facilities for wheelchair users.
We also have dedicated parking spaces outside which are reserved for patients displaying a disabled sticker.
The Practice has a treatment room for the disabled with disabled access.
The Practice has an Induction Loop hearing system and Braille signage.

Online Services
You can book/cancel your appointment and order repeat prescriptions online. To use SystmOnline you will need a Practice ID number and Access ID number which is obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password, will be unique to you.
